LVARC maintains three repeaters, a 147.285 MHz, a 224.840 MHz, and a 443.875 MHz repeater (all with a PL tone of 146.2) which are available for use as needed. These repeaters allow mobile and handheld ham radio operators to extend the range of their radios up to 100 miles and even further using Echolink capability (KB9GYO 224.840 node 499944 & KB9SZS 443.875 node 484271). The repeaters are equipped with emergency power and are invaluable in times of emergency.
